Very strong performance by Alaphilippe. At 2 km to go I thought he attacked too early but he only increased his advantage! Wow. I think Pog&Rog had a chance to chase Ala down but the latter didn't want to pull with Pog. At the start of the TdF cyclists are full of energy, they are like raging bulls. Therefore (unfortunately) crashes, as always. The first one was cause by an idiotic spectator though (JV guys down, Roglic as well?). UAE guys down in both crashes.
