Woods down at 8.49 on PCS. TGH down at over 5 mins. Kuss at over 16 mins with Teunnissen, Martin, Jansen and Hirschi.

Just praying there's a transponder issue with it and Woods was on Boivins bike.

Wiggins says that this has "put paid" to Chris Froome's chance to win this TdF.

Also, ES studio talking about the injustice to riders of the spectator-caused incident, as though the rider-caused pile-up with 7km left had no effect at all. Yes, it could have done a lot of damage, but Sutterlin apart, it didn't really.

Jumbo Visma team has taken a hit, neither Martin and Kuss look good following that crash.

Having this stage on day 1 is massive. People under estimate the hardness of this stage on day 1. Look at all the GC contenders gasping for air. You could see nobody wanted to follow Ala. They all looked dead. Even Pogacar went "I am not following or working for Roglic" and let that gap go.

Very Nice Win Ala! What Champ he is.
Surprised though that Roglic didn't have more to give when he tried to follow when Ala accelerated the first time, he usually have a lot more power, it looked kind of strange. Maybe him not racing since Liege have made him miss form.

Rabofail right there, Wout should have pulled with all his might for Roglic once Ala attacked. Roglic prefered to hold hands with Pogi and of course MAL and Porte lost time today...
Not at all. WVA had the whole bunch in his wheel (again), and then Roglic followed a move so Van Aert stopped pulling. That was good tactical sense. That Roglic didn't work with Pogacar was less smart of course.
