That split in the front group really didn't work out for Pacher, did it? "Are we behind? Quentin, go ride for Pierre!"

Is there a camera at the grupetto that monitors if they cheat there? Oddly enough, the gap is growing very slowly.

INEOS are not helping Pogacar here. If they want to win the stage they have to set the pace. The same goes if they want to take time out of the riders that UAE don't really have to fear.

They might also just be trying to ride Luke Rowe out of the race, I don't actually know.

Some (I think Waterloo) posted this link earlier, see for yourself:

Something around 40 minutes maybe is a reasonable guess.
The fastest time schedule (which they are matching at Chalet Reynard) has the winner taking 5h18 to complete the stage and sets the time limit at 06:05:42 (+00:47:42) according to the calculator.

That means the grupetto needs to reach the summit of Ventoux by 15.49 cest to be safe. Gives them 1h22 (1150 vam) for the 2nd ascent.

For all the talk of how hard Ineos are working on the front, that's still a large peloton for nearing the 2nd last summit of a big climbing day.

Pogacar doesn't seem to be wearing the heart rate chest strap. He does seem to be wearing that heavy wristwatch though.

Yup, they've shed very few really. Maybe managing things and Carapaz is feeling crap so they're setting a solid enough tempo to reduce attacks?

Fastest schedule has them climbing from Bedoin to Ventoux in 45 minutes. Even Pogacar needs to try to achive that. :)
