The second crash was the fault of the stage design
I know! I felt the win but there is room for more. I was excited when saw a Quickstep rider until I saw the front view and knew it wasn’t Cav.Damn, that could have been an easy win for Cavendish.
Looks like Caleb touched wheels with Merlier
The rules need to be applied as indicated. That was massive drafting well outside the allowed limit.
And out of those 6 riders we should single out Rogla for a DQ.The rules need to be applied as indicated. That was massive drafting well outside the allowed limit.
What a shitty stage. Hope Ewan can be ok to try and win a stage later on. Doesn't look good at all though.
2011, 2012, 2014, and 2018 were all like this too. What the *** is this tour, I hate it. When was the last time it so bad so early?
no.
6 man teams.
120-132 riders at the start.
there were never these crashes when there were only 120-140 riders at the start.
I don't crash very often by when I do I do it with style. That was the calmest reaction to a high speed crash I've ever seen from Sagan, didn't let go of the handlebars the entire time.
So start now with a rider you don't like? How convenient.
Haig I think.Who was the guy who fell in the second to last crash? That looked very scary.
