Hopefully the weekend continues in a similar spirit.
yeah i dont think Carapaz wasted a ton of energy riding 15km on his ownMeanwhile, Pogacar had a free ride all day long in the pack.
His disaster was a few stages ago, I'm afraid. It is what it is--the body needs repair.Roglic is losing >3 minutes here, what a disaster.
Unchain my AertWonder how long Roglic will stay in this race for. Seems a bit pointless to ride around here in pain, and if he's losing it here today, he'll lose tomorrow and Sunday.
Also, Hatch is an idiot for not understanding why he's isolated. He's done for, might as well protect Vingegaard who can potentially top 10.
Rose from 19th to 5th I think
Direct Energie working hard to be everyone's least favourite team
Would make sense... with Olympics or Vuelta still possible.I think Roglic won't start tomorrow.

Tbh I do think Pogacar was *** today. You don't watch Carapaz go when you don't have any of your own teammates left and go "this is great I'll just sit on my ass"
I think the Alpe d' Huez '11 was the confirmation they've accepted. If they now being tired from this produce interesting racing in two short mountain stages, ASO will just see it as a confirmation that short stages are the way to go.
yeah it was very strange how other teams are also in the raceHe went on the penultimate climb.
Can't really legislate for petty teams who are insignificant to the race deciding to chase you down
There are so many awful teams in the sport these days...And they didn't even win that award! Well done Movistar
Pog definitely used some energy, and his team will feel this stage, so I wouldn't say it was a great day for him. better than it could of been thanks to Movistar, but his team couldn't even chase down for 1 day, so not sure how helpful they will be too him if he is ganged up on in the mountainsCarapaz wasted energy, gained no time.
Roglic totally out of GC.
Pogacar spend no energy. Great day for him.
