One Pogacar to lay down the law on 160 odd mortalsOnly one helper for Pogi to control the peloton?
Hard disagree.More rejigging of the intermediate sprint points is needed, if not their complete removal from mountain stages. No consolation prizes for a rider like Colbrelli who hasn't been able to compete for stage wins on flat or hilly sprints.
Fatigue is a factor in endurance sport if you actually have stages long and difficult enough to make endurance a factor. Who knew?If this what happens without a train, I am all for it. Some vintage cycling this.
I don't know what they've done recently, but back in 2011 he lost like 25 points. What if Cav finish OTL, but in big group so they won't disqualify them? I heard yesterday they would get strip of points? Is this only points from this one stage or whole race? Could he lose all sprinting points?
All points he has earned. What if Cav finish OTL, but in big group so they won't disqualify them? I heard yesterday they would get strip of points? Is this only points from this one stage or whole race? Could he lose all sprinting points?
You lose the number of points that would be available for winning the stage in question, such that you are penalised more heavily for missing the time cut in a flat stage than a mountain stage. Only way to make it less would be in an ITT, but obviously you aren't going to be in a group big enough to not be kicked out in an ITT.What if Cav finish OTL, but in big group so they won't disqualify them?
