So only Galibier via Télégraphe for Granon and then the next day Galibier via Lautaret and Croix de Fer before Alpe d'Huez? Lame

Need to see the actual profiles first, but the Granon stage is as expected and the Huez stage at least isn't Izoard-Lautaret-Huez, so not quite as lame as expected. So only Galibier via Télégraphe for Granon and then the next day Galibier via Lautaret and Croix de Fer before Alpe d'Huez? Lame
Galibier south and Croix-de-Fer before Alpe does nothing, you just throw 5 HC climbs in 2 days while trying to get as little action as possible.Need to see the actual profiles first, but the Granon stage is as expected and the Huez stage at least isn't Izoard-Lautaret-Huez, so not quite as lame as expected.
It's really meh, but not as bad as it could have been. This is still a pretty poor Tour design, though.Galibier south and Croix-de-Fer before Alpe does nothing, you just throw 5 HC climbs in 2 days while trying to get as little action as possible.
This is no suprise. The archtypical way ASO design stages. Galibier - Croix de Fer and Alpe d'Huez/La Toussuire. Or Glandon - Madeleine - one of the MTFs in central part of the Tarentaise valley (La Plagne, Courchevel, etc). And similar things in the Pyrenees. 3 cat 1/HC climbs and a MTF or descent finish around Bagneres de Luchon.Galibier south and Croix-de-Fer before Alpe does nothing, you just throw 5 HC climbs in 2 days while trying to get as little action as possible.
A previous design of mine (PdBF the day before):Wonder if we'll ever see Le Markstein in the men's race. The section we see in the middle of that stage in the women's race (Petit Ballon - Platzerasel - Le Markstein) preceeded by perhaps 5-6 more cat 2 climbs, could be a great medium mountain stage in the men's race.
Bruh wait until Port de Bales before Peyresourde/PeyragudesLacets de Montvernier as the only climb before Telegraphe is the most predictable thing ever.
Surprise! It's even worse.Bruh wait until Port de Bales before Peyresourde/Peyragudes

It looks good on Instagram. That seems to be what they care about.Lacets de Montvernier as the only climb before Telegraphe is the most predictable thing ever.
