I think he is doing quite well though. Made the selection. And yoyoing was his thing already in his prime. So might actually surprise.

Nice to see you work through that. For sure might as well push it where they can.

I'm pretty sure Pidcock is just descending in an efficient way for himself and hoping the others work hard to stay closer and that as a group they then maintain the gap to the base of the climb.

No point shipping a minute on the descent just so that you're 30 seconds better on the flat.

I don't get the impression he's giving it the full beans on this descent. Helping the others by showing a good line to follow as well?
