Bike races should be about the strength of the riders and the teams. Not about cars.
Sure, if there was some sort of consistency but there isn't, sometimes the cars help you after a crash, sometimes you just get f*cked. Just dumb.
*climbProblem for the peloton is another climb - break will gain time in that final time - and will be hard to catch there after
You have this the wrong way round. Flat sprint stages disenfranchise everyone who isn't a sprinter when you have a wider array of riders who can win every other stage that isn't a TT. And TTs serve a purpose for GCs.
Also, Cavendish doesn't deserve to break Merckx' record.
Even if BEX pull them back
Wout is there ready to burn Matthews
We already have just the thread for such discussions. What ! I am referring to cycling as a whole - Teams employ a variety of riders - Climbers, TTer's, Rouleurs, punchy riders, sprinters etc - Anyway this is worthy of discussion in a dedicated thread.
Van Aert must be disappointed that Lotto and Quickstep gave up.
I have only been watching off and on, are they even trying to catch the break?
