Groenewegen saying before the start they can't be the only team to control this stage but then they don't help Lotto and Alpecin chasing till 40k before the finish lol.
I mean, the ideal scenario would have been cat-and-mouse all the way to the line, like Cort's final stage win at last year's Vuelta. Might have happened without the Ewan crash too. This is how I would wish every "sprinter stage" was.
BEX way too twitchy in their cornering today!
So... what wad BEX waiting for before they started to work too late?
Didn't realise Kristoff was still there. Agree it's pretty sad that both teams aren't helping. It's not like either of those riders are going to have a better opportunity than this to shine.I think Philipsen only has 1 guy left in the bunch (and that's his leadout so), maybe DSM could ride for Dainese. Also Wanty could start riding for Kristoff.
It's too late even if Jumbo take over.I think it's over for the stage now, unless Jumbo gets greedy or smth

I think Groenewegen couldn't go much quicker, so it made sense. No idea why they are not using Mezgec and Schultz as well, though - both are still in the bunch. It could have made the difference. Now it's too late.Getting over the cat 3.
