I think he actually suffers from his attacks more than Vingegaard. Thats why he becomes less active as the stages go on (like yesterday). But in that case nothing else he can do. Vingegaard is just better. But he will try again for sure.

I mean, Pogacar took similar amounts of time over a similar distance on the way to Grand Bornand last year. The only difference is that Vingegaard and McNulty have had their breakfast too this time.

Maybe they are content with making today hard and taking the stage. Knowing it would be difficult to drop him on the last climb. Not steep enough. Hoping that Vinge will suffer tomorrow for the effort today. That Pogs recovery is better and maybe that he could gain back time on Hautacam tomorrow. If Vinge is stronger then so be it. Not much else they can to do then what they have done.
