Tour de France Tour de France 2022: Stage 2 (Roskilde – Nyborg, 202.2k)

What a terrible final. Small and too much corners. And a bunch of stupid on a bike. Imo you can relegate both Sagan and Jakobsen.

The riders who where before the crash just let go, normally they should loose time right? Only riders who were affected by a crash should get the same time, all the others should have the connection with the main bunch.

If he avoided the crash and lost time after that (and finished with Cattaneo who did avoid the crash), then he should.

No, that's not how it works! Haha.

General classification after stage 2.

ehmm yes that is how it should work. If there is a time gap, and you're not affected by a crash, but you just let go, you should loose time.

Looks like I missed a very typical first Tour sprint stage. Happy for Jakobsen though, imo his story is far more special and inspiring than if Cavendish had broken the Merckx record.
More inspiring, but worldwide, Cav breaking the record would be the only major news from this Tour that is known to the non-cycling fan. The major sports sites here in America would only report special occasions like that. They would not take their time to show anything about Jakobsen. Cav should’ve been here with Jakobsen IMO.
