Roglic still needs to lose 1 minute to do the Froome on Finestre patented move.
My only hope is that he gets better enough to at least pull a few attacks on Pog along with Vingegaard. I don't think he can do much more than that.

Vingegård pushed Pogačar to the limit today, he ended up winning due to his superior kick at the end. Bodes well for the Alps. Roglič showing that he is still better than the rest is a good news for Jumbo too
And why not? What else would there be for them to accomplish by riding faster?Bjerg, Langen and Hirschi were last 3 on the road today, and are all in the bottom 5 on gc (Moscon 170th and Turgis 172nd/LR are the other 2). Definite strategy for UAE that once the day’s work is done, shift to your lowest gear and party-pace it to the finish.

I would say as dominant Pogacar is so far, its not completely over. He is also burning a lot of energy while Vingegaard rides so more hidden. That might be an advantage.
Yes, exactly. I think the biggest threat to Pogacar might be Pogacar himself. Feeling invicible is maybe not that great all the time.He also spent a lot of energy early to blow the field away last year and Vingegaard dropped him on Ventoux. Also beat him in the last time trial. Still think Pogacar is overwhelming favorite but if Jonas avoid a major time loss like Le Grand Bornad last year then he's not completely out of this.
Dude, you're not even wrongWhat happened today ?
Ah yes you're right, pogi won and vingegaard showed he is in better form.
Keep dreaming
Consequence of dodging competition before July?Yes, exactly. I think the biggest threat to Pogacar might be Pogacar himself. Feeling invicible is maybe not that great all the time.
Pogi is young and (to my knowledge) hasn't had any major injuries yet. I'd say let's just enjoy this stage of a very young and very talented rider for as long as it lasts.Yes, exactly. I think the biggest threat to Pogacar might be Pogacar himself. Feeling invicible is maybe not that great all the time.

To be fair, Vingegaard was no competition for him in Tirreno. You mean doing Tour of Slovenia?
Because if you're suggesting he has been dodging competition the whole season I don't even...

Would be gas if he got caught on the final TT after underestimating "young" Jonas while also wearing a comically oversized helmetYes, exactly. I think the biggest threat to Pogacar might be Pogacar himself. Feeling invicible is maybe not that great all the time.
No.And you think the version of Roglic that had to be carried to Nice by Van Aert would have been that?
Nah I think he's just very surprised by how good Vingegaard is. Like he he's better than in the spring and seems surprised Vingegaard has a steeper improvement from the spring. You mean doing Tour of Slovenia?

No.
I guess my attempt at humour failed on you.
Won't feel invincible after today.Yes, exactly. I think the biggest threat to Pogacar might be Pogacar himself. Feeling invicible is maybe not that great all the time.
He still rode it from the front and won in the end. Lets see if this already makes him more humble regarding energy expenditure.Won't feel invincible after today.
