Hopefully injury won't be involved. Then a scenario when Jonas goes, Pogi follows and Rogla gets a perfect leadout is possible.
You still don't get it.

Rogla is done and will not act as a captain as of yesterday. It's clear as daylight that his tour is over. Why would Jonas do a leadout for a guy that is so far behind ? It's a strategic catastrophe.

But JV had been strategic idiots so far, driving Pog directly to the yellow jersey. WvA and his solo project is a massive failure on a team level but that was known when he got to choose to ride for the green.

Jonas has been stronger than Rogla all year. And it will play out easily the next two weeks.

But it doesn't matter. JV stands no chance with the way they play the game as of now. No one beats Pogomon.

Ahah, the spin is already there :tearsofjoy: Ignorance is a bliss.

I hope Roglic either leaves the Tour or goes down with a banger and rides for himself like the champion he is and not for some anonymous Dane. All the sick Jumbo tactics should put to the wall.

Aah, so people concluding - based on the unfortunate circumstances of the race - that Vingegaard is probably Jumbo's best bet = terrible, and celebrating Roglic's bad luck.
Suggesting that Roglic should "show Vingegaard who's boss" = A-okay.

UAE is the former Lampre team, they've been first port of call at the top level for a lot of Slovenes over the years. Jan Polanc, Luka Pibernik, Grega Bole, Simon Špilak, and now Pogačar got their pro start there, while Gorazd Stangelj, Tadej Valjavec, Matej Mohorič and Marko Kump have spent time there. Croatian rather than Slovene, but Kristijan Đurasek spent his whole top level pro career pre-suspension with the team too.
