Surely a strong break will form, as with two cat1 and one cat2 we’ll finally see who is eyeing the polka dot. My money will be Kämna, Guerreiro, Pinot, O’Connor, maybe Martin and Cort trying his best.

best chance for anyone to make the race hard on the Col de la Croix is Bora, I guess, going by the way they are racing this year.
In theory yes but while Vlasovs punch seems alright going by today and two days ago, the crash (or Covid) definitely has taken its toll on him on longer climbs, otherwise he wouldn't have lost so much yesterday. So I don't think they'll do something for him and instead probably try to put Kämna in the breakaway again if he feels it.

In theory this is the perfect stage for UAE to give the jersey away. Have some reasonable capable guy take it and his team will "honor" the jersey like crazy which should help them if Ineos or Jumbo get creative on the Granon or d'huez stage and go for an early move.

Nah, not really.
The days with HC climbs are crucial this year.

I think it's both but the HC stages like on Tuesday will be far harder to get in the break. If I'm Pinot, Kamna, Guerreiro types, I'm probably waiting until Wednesday, Thursday.

I think guys like Teuns, Rolland, Storer maybe, Schultz, Goosens, Lafay should be going tomorrow. With the rest day Monday, they can recover and try on the HC stages too.

I think Pogacar enjoys his yellow suit, he has no mercy for his poor teammates. Majka's pain face will be seen again tomorrow.

He wants a real yellow suit. As in, a real suit that is yellow.

My picks are Fuglsang @ 13, Storer @ 26, and Guillaume Martin @ 101 (lol).

Long odds for Martin obviously because he's only 3 minutes down on GC, but I'm hoping that no self-respecting GC team will feel threatened by The Philosopher's chances over three weeks. Unfortunately, self-respecting GC teams are a rarity in this age.

Very optimistic picking Martin. He is brilliant at what he does in plugging away to get a decent GC result while never being a threat but I don’t think he has ever been in a move and actually looked dangerous for a stage win in any Grand Tour through his career.
