I love this Tour. Amazing racing.

btw Why didn't most teams attack yesterday? It was much easier to try and win the stage then today....

No team can control the race
uae seem to embrace the chaos, jumbo should be trying to slow it down and block the road, but they don't want to because of van aert? and getting riders ahead of the gc group, which has been their tactic in the past, and to be fair has worked.

So there really is nobody to do the tradition block which is why this is happening so often.

For Wout it’s always good to be in front. If they let you go 15min so he can’t help upcoming Vingo, you win the stage. If they catch you, you can help in the end. Win win for him. But solo it will be a long day.

I think jumbo is very afraid of Pogacar. They want at all cost to have a rider in the break because they fear an attack by Pogacar today.
Jumbo would be silly not to be very afraid of Pogi. But mostly I think they want to win the stage with Wout and they are running out of stages where that is possible.
And UAE for historica reasons are a bit nervous when Wout is in front.
