I mean people can say Pog had a bad day (he didn't) but how do you explain the gap from Vingegaard to everyone else. Even if you just take the flat part, it was ridiculous
Pog looked positively haunted up the last bit; yes, he put a lot of time into the rest but there is no way this was the best version of him today (though I believe 100% he still would have taken a beating, but maybe 45 seconds instead of what we actually saw). Jonas was just incredibly strong, technically he was a wizard, and obviously totally in the zone. No one was touching him.

Probably all the same crybabies referred to the clinic then too :D
Same as always. Without a doubt the best thing ever done in this forum was moving them elsewhere. As bad as it gets here sometimes, it was absolutely toxic in the days before
LOL, this is like winning the 100m in the olympics by half a second hahhahaha
Yeah, no. This was insane but a 9.08 100m?? Not sure the human body will be capable of that for at least a 100 years.

Still put close to a minute into the likes of King, Cavagna, Wout on the flatter sections. His performance today wasn't just Pog not doing as well as expected. He was close to 4kph faster than everyone but Pog

I wonder how different the comments would be if the result had been reversed...

That Motogate thread gonna die, tho.

The sausage is made the way the sausage is made...and they're all eating sausage, so this was a contest of sausage eaters. Deal with it.
If pogacar won this tour in the same way, it would be a so beatiful world, with nothing wrong. The problem is the poster boy, that almost everybody loves, didn't won.

I'm pretty neutral between the two, just want to see good racing. This forum has made me hope that Vingo destroys him in the last two chances in the mountains and wins by 4 minutes. It's getting tiresome reading this crap.

as i said ..before getting the ire of some one here. Pog was not feeling good today

Tadej Pogacar: "I'm a little surprised even if to be honest I didn't feel very good in the 2nd part. It's a big gap now, I hoped for less and I even thought I could take the yellow jersey today today. I hope to get my legs back."
You want a medal? Lol, what he is supposed to say after that.

Still put close to a minute into the likes of King, Cavagna, Wout on the flatter sections.

That's the thing, he didn't - he only put 3 secs into Cavagna and 11 secs into Kung in the downhill / flat section T1-2. He seemed to be taking some risks in the downhill too.

As I wrote previously, he was also actually a few secs behind Ciccone's KOM winning T2-3 time.

Its the final T3-finish section where he put just under a minute into the nearest non-Pog competitor (Skjelmose). Pog was only 9 seconds faster than Skelmose through the same final section. That doesn't seem like enough.

This entire TT was perfectly suited to a GC contender with a good TT in the 3rd week of the Tour.

The more I look at it the more it looks like Vinge has done (certainly to the upper limit) what I'd kind of expect of these two, given how far ahead they are of the rest of the field in GC terms.

I personally think Pog under performed today compared to where he "should" have been based on the last 2 weeks, and Vinge has simultaneously had his best day. I think it's all more believable than the time gaps would initially imply.

Shocker. Of course he didn't feel good. He was on a climb in a TT in the 3rd week of the Tour.

In any case, he won't give up. I wouldn't bet on it but I also would be less shocked if Tadej went crazy and somehow took the time back than I was with today's TT.
