Vingegaard destroyed superman lopez record on la loze, what a monster.
Is this included the section of the moto blocking incident?
Looking at Vingo up Loze my impression was that he still thought a stage win was possible.
Then at altiport ramp hitting reality seems he totally blew up.

*edit* ok thread running at pace, thanks for posting clocked times and section in focus.

If Sepp Kuss can win this stage we could have a situation where every rider in the top 7 also has a stage win

Now we need a Simon Yates win on Saturday to have all riders in the top 8 with a stage win

To me it rather looked like he wasn't going full gas anymore at the altiport. I have no doubt that if required he could've managed to stay at Bilbao's wheel.

Oh boy, what a carnage! Congrats to Gall on a great performance, he didn't even lose more than a minute when Skeletor accelerated. OTOH Teddy absolutely cracked. His worst day on a bike, even Vinge was looking back not believing that he's not in the group anymore. Not sure if it's because of the heat, the crash, not enough preparation for 3 weeks of racing or whatever.

The race is over and the gaps are becoming comical. Who will want to have "fun" with Skeletor next year? He'll be alone at the start saying "my goal is to finish the race in one piece".
