Who would have thought that a stage meant to be a sprinters stage (i.e. default win for Philipsen) would end up being one of the most entertaining.

Guess it got a bit tricky with two of the usual sprinter teams no longer being sprinter teams, and in fact being represented in the break.
If Jakobsen had still been in the race, at his best, Asgreen would have been the kind of guy to catch the break.
