Pretty impressive showing by Abrahamsen. After finishing 3rd yesterday he's been working on the front and they're holding a very strong break so far.

Trentin might try to get away from Pedersen. He hasn't had the best of luck sprinting against him in recent years.
Hehe True, not the best record.

But without being a mind reader I still think Trentin will have a rather high opinion of his own sprint in a small group like this. Also compared to his ability to ride solo against some of those engines.

They were already a minute in front, isn’t that the rule for the cars to go behind the break?

Yeah... Rolf Sørensen was thinking it might be because there hadn't been a place where it was possible.

ARD commentators said that the gap was just big enough for the cars to go up front, but the roads were too narrow to safely pass the peloton.

And of course now it's under a minute... so all the cars would have had to be called back.
