Pedersen playing KOM-leadout for a guy who actually wants to win KOM, vs Vingegaard who - probably - doesn't really care.

I'm sure he is aware he can win it. I think he will not win any friends fighting for it. He may get it anyway today, but fighting Ciccone and Gall for it (and easily winning, what are they going to do about it?) would not endear him any to the viewers or the riders I don't think.
