Wawa was only in a group with a gap because of the crash. It wasn’t an attack where he was marked by Vingegaard.

I see it more like Vingegaard was only in the group, which is the break by all intense and purposes, because a rider crashed directly on his wheel. To me hes beeing pointlessly annoying by staying in and therefore effectively boycotting that group as he seems to have realized now.

As I first pointed out, he is no threat in GC to anyone in the peloton. He is too far ahead.

Was he marked? Didn’t Vingegaard not just follow the group he was in, when the crash made the split. Barguil could just attack instead.
