Bora just giving 3 minutes. Can't be Alaphillipe they are afraid of. Don't want to give van Aert too much time so that TJV can set up an attack on Tourmalet and van Aert helps Vingegaard after Tourmalet?

The peloton will lose time to the break on Aspin, only to take ~3 min on Tourmalet (from Gripp: 12.35 km at 8.85 %).

Bora seem content to keep the gap at 3 minutes, this break will have a hard time surviving.

It's no big deal keeping the gap at 3 minutes on the flat.

But what happens when they hit d'Aspin, and later Tourmalet is a different matter.

Bora does have quite good mountain Doms though, but they will also be scared of going too deep too early, so we may see the gap go out when we hit the serious climbs, and the best in the break separate.

FFS its called criticism ..Every sport person gets it , every team from all fans

You must be one of those millenniums where any criticism has to be called hate as people cant take it

When fan bois starting calling others haters, they pretty much lose any credibility in their opinions.

It is a shame there is no GC threat in the breakaway. There is a high probability now of nothing happening in the peloton until the last climb.

Could be an explanation.., other could be that they have a few flat riders, that they can only use right now, while they (Haller, Meuss, van Poppel, Politt) are useless when the climbsbegin..

But that's how breaks work. They don't let GC threats go, unless it's an unusually weird day like yesterday.
Sure, but yesterday was fought harder and after 10-15k or so of constant attacking a GC guy can infiltrate the breakaway and it is hard to control. Today was kinda meek in terms of the formation of the breakaway.

Everybody was tired after yesterday’s tough day, so the break was always going to form quicker than yesterday.
