I'm starting to wonder what Jumbo will do once the climb starts. Surely WvA can't ride the climb as fast as the group behind but it's quite a long time until gradients start where Vingegaard can realistically drop Pogacar. Will Vingegaard just pull Pog up the climb with no fear of a counter attack? Or will Pog maybe start to collaborate?
Think Contador vs Rasmussen

Pog should just sit on the wheel, if he can hold on. Make Jumbo second-guess themselves about the upcoming stages.

If he gets dropped... then it is what it is.

I thin Wout will pull until the steep part starts with about 5 km to go.

I meant at the time the other poster said it was strange Pog hadnt made a move, now if course the situation has changed.
Pog usually likes to play harder than he did. He takes digs at other riders to make them hurt. Today he just hung on.

The first 11 K of the climb are easy, no real chance of dropping Pogacar there, unless he has a lapse in concentration.

It's the last 5 K that matters.

Now is the time to go pee and put the coffea on ;)

Vinge will keep pushing and get Purito’d is my hope.
