That 180 turn with 3.5K left looks extremely dangerous. With how cycling usually goes this is probably where one of Vingegaard and Pogacar crash out.

So, there's one dude alone in the front?
Fun fact from the Danish TV2 commentator team:
Arkea wants to be in the break today, because the route is passing the Arkea Stadium in Bordeaux.
According to Devil's Elbow's start post of this thread, it's rather three turns for 270 degrees rather than a 180.That 180 turn with 3.5K left looks extremely dangerous.

10k? try 1kI'm curious about the viewership ratings are for stages like this. I can't imagine a lot of people are tuning in for this one, except for the last 10k or something. At the end of the day it's all about the money and viewership, it's actually surprising that they still include so many snoozefest stages like this one.

At least limit the tv coverage to 1-2 hours, like in the old days. Opportunity cost for fans to spend 4 hours watching this.I'm curious about the viewership ratings are for stages like this. I enjoy stages like this. I love all stages, to be honest. Time to get a little work done with the race in the background, catch up on cycling news, cycling gossip. enjoy good coffee. I have it on in the background as well while working but I can't say I'm enjoying it since nothing is happening. I can't imagine the average viewers (not the die hard viewers like the people on this forum) are tuning in en masse for these stages but I could be wrong of course.I enjoy stages like this.
