This is why I play velogames. I would hate philipsen dominating every sprint. But he's in my velogames team so now I don't mind it.

Thats the reason I quit. Once i had convinced myself crashes, punctures and other instances of bad luck happen to the riders exclusively because theyre on my teams I knew I should give it up and actually enjoy the races instead

Cavendish surprisingly close. I think he actually timed it really well but just didn't quite have the legs.
Yeah, he surprised them...if he'd left it any later, Philipsen would have already begun his sprint, I think he shot his shot...mabye if he'd been a bit further up, earlier, it would have been better.

He is moving to Cav's wheel, it's a completely normal maneuver
Not saying he should be relegated (I was also fine with him not being relegated a few days ago), but honestly he seems to have a habit of extremely switching lanes in sprints. 350 metres from the finish he was on the far left, closing the door for Pedersen, 100 metres later he rides on the far right, closing the door for Girmay.

Regarding Jakobsen. A few years ago, I'd have wondered if he'd gotten scared in the sprints, which I could definitely have understood, all things considered. However, I'm pretty sure I recall him getting right into it in 2021.
Of course, he might be feeling a bit sore after his crash.

The Jakobsen-Moerkoev collaboration is just not working,

Jakobsen keeps missing Moerkoev's wheel when it matters.

Dunno whether it is a lack of trust or a lack of skill?

He is following his leadout man, it's Pedersen who makes a desperate move to squeeze through.

Kragh with an extra pull but a little to early. Rickaert started 300-400m earlier than his previous (1km) leadout so Mathieu was also sooner in front. But Philipsen managed it perfect, and the legs. He had another punch and won easily. Great effort/timing from Cav.
Girmay had also something left, went as fast as Jasper even after the close-in.
