Should look like this.

I mean I don't know why anyone expected much more from this stage. I guess Mont Cenis and Telegraphe is better, but it's still bang average, it's still only stage 4, and I'd still expect very little if anything besides a mountain sprint.

I much prefer Galibier. We'll get actual separation between the contenders and the pretenders, which I don't mind. Even if it's < 1 km of racing before the descent.... it beats no racing at all.

Valloire via Telegraphe could have been a 10+ man sprint with some medium mountain guys in the mix. Mont Cenis would have likely been soft pedaled.

It's possible to have some gaps between the contenders on galibier, specially in the last km. It's a short stage, but if they are going in full gas, it can have some differences. A contender that gets a small gap on top of galibier, can open the gap in the descent.

I'm also curious with the design of stage 5. There's few information about that stage.

The actual best route that's realistic in terms of difficulty would have been Mont Cenis - Beau Plan - Télégraphe, although that requires ASO even being aware of the existence of Beau Plan. Without Beau Plan, the Galibier route is the better option.

Yeah I also prefer Galibier over Telegraphe. Neither option is super exciting (this side of the Galibier must be one of the most overrated climbs in cycling) but I feel like this one is just a bit more likely to create action. And if not the Galibier will at least provide a more spectacular scenery.

ASO used Col de Beaune (which is ~73 % of Beau Plan) in Dauphiné in 2019, so I think they do.

Le Tour de France Femme Avec Zwift is rumoured to be ending with two stages in the Alps with L'Alp D'Huez having a finish. What odds do we have for Realini?

For those wondering, in Danish it would mean pussyfarm.

And no, not pussy as in cat.

So perhaps that's not the most fortunate amalgamation of names...
Perhaps you might drop the 'e'. The result for sure would give extra power to Jonas.

Less than 48hrs to go.

Hoping for a total surprise that never appeared in the rumours. A 58km TT that Quick Step paid Prudhomme to boost Remco's chances.

Except Gouvenou has 100% control over the route. He thought 40km is too long for an ITT

Is it true that a TT in the GTs can't exceed 60km these days.
Not sure if it's true but I thought I read it somewhere.....
