.

Haven't checked up on any of the point rules for this edition yet, but that seems odd.
Especially the variety in sequence for rider # 1-2-3 ( :p )
But d'guess this is the fashion these years in the sports world in general to spread a little artificial excitement here and there.

It has been like that for years now that a select few hills had bonus seconds (I also don't understand what you mean by the sequence comment).

Great with all these expectations here for an anti-hectic non-content well-measured accountant-calculated stage, apparently measured by grateful avg. percentages of climbs and nothing else?

Still I expect a bit of a show. Lots of different agendi in the pack. There may of course be a dampener on the desire to attack due to the heat wave.
Regardless, I'll dig out the espresso and the grappa and enjoy how things escalate or vice versa.

I'd be quite surprised if Uae or Quickstep don't blow up the race on Barbotto and s. Luca.
If Pog is going for the yellow from day one, it's just a question of figuring out who the J Narvaez of this tour is: Lazkano or Ben Healy could be up for the role.
