Not promising. But just enough that some teams will try, I think. What’s the current status on winds? Anything in the final 40-80k?
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I get the feeling that you really like Tadej.I'm not saying the Tour hasn't been good. For me it is a little bit above average but the route design is absolutely garbage. This race has been entertaining due to Pogacar. If Pogacar wasn't in the race, we would be talking about one of the worst Tours so far due to an awful route design.
Ha ha, you should be here later in the year when we get next year's parcours!I'm not saying the Tour hasn't been good. Race has been incredible because of Pogacar, that's it. Every race is good when Pogacar is in it and this is not a fanboy talking. If we made the exercise of searching for hard stages in this Tour, the five hardest are in the last 8 stages. This is just pure crap.
This Tour's route is absolutely garbage. Super backloaded and despite the Galibier and San Luca, they tried everything to have a super close GC until stage 14. Even the TT is a joke, super small, very fast, this leads to tiny margins between gc riders.

I really like him but this is really an impartial opinion. My days of diehard fan died in LA's confession.Correct me if I'm wrong, but I get the feeling that you really like Tadej.
The Giro was also garbage, including the route. It wasn't a incredible race.Race has been incredible because of Pogacar, that's it. In about 10 Km they will get the dangerous part and a new stage will start
Maybe better discuss this on the clinic, but if you were a diehard fan of LA, the only thing who could make you not be a fan of him anymore, was the fact he was a bully.I really like him but this is really an impartial opinion. My days of diehard fan died in LA's confession.

The gravel stage was designed to be entertaing but without gaps. The hardest part was between 120-70 km to go. Galibier stage (they still chose the easiest side) and San Luca stage wery very good. Stage 1 had a good combo of climbs but very far from the finish line. They are not stupid, they design some stages to be good but without gaps to maintain everyone close for the final part. We will have the first MTF only in stage 14, this is pure garbage! So the race is incredible and the only reason you are complaining is Pogi not having bigger margin in GC and for that you blame the route design? A mur, Galibier, semi-flat ITT, gravel ... Sorry but it just doesn't add up, so far all has been great, both the field and the route.
The field was weak, the route was garbage. Nevertheless it wasn't Pogacar's fault. It wasn't garbage, the field was rather one sided, though. Here Pogi actually has some proper competition and that is on why GC gaps are smaller.
Yes it was garbage and for that reason we had zero fight for the podium and this is what you get when riders are not so agressive like Pogacar. If we exclude Pogacar, we didn't see any attacks and despite his obvious superiority, Pogacar made the race a little bit entertaining. If he wasn't there, I have no doubts we would have a race like 2023 or 2012 (everyone waiting for Stelvio). The Giro was also garbage, including the route. It wasn't a incredible race.

The competition here is good but i don't like the route.
No mate. We still didn’t have a stage to create proper gaps and we can't have a route that doesn't offer a opportunity to create proper gaps in 13 stages and after those 13 stages, we have 5 stages out of 8 (14, 15, 19, 20, 21) where you can put minutes on your rivals in each one of them. For me this is pure garbage but I already made my point in October. If the competition would be weaker, by now, Pogi would already have a couple of minutes of a gap in GC, compared to the second place. The route of week one was not in any way design to prevent that. The field is too strong and some fans had too high expectations, due to Pogi winning everything this season, by a big margin, mostly due to the lack of top tier competition.
