There won't be any decisive changes in GC today anyway, the hills are not long enough at the end so all favourites will finish together 99% of the time. Just let others fight for the stage and leave the GC fight for the harder stages.

This is bike racing. Visma is trying to defend themselves against UAE, UAE are trying to not make that possible. This is a very hard stage. Just because it isnt raced in the Pyrenees and Alps doesn't mean it shouldnt be raced properly.

One of the only times on this forum where Im genuinely perplexed. Your opinion actually is that the biggest riders SHOULD NOT try to do anything and just roll through the stage. Okay.

Potential support in pulling dropped rider back, with negotiating terrain, with supply of cooling, water in case of mechanical,... there is absolutely no reason that UAE should allow this.

Vingo wont stick to wheels all the time. He will have to put the hammer down at some point. Pyrenees or Alps are more obvious places to do it but you never know 100%, this is hard racing. Whatever happens, hopefully the stage will deliver!
