and Egen Bernal -

Over 100 guys finished at more then 40 minutes down on Sunday, so expect some DNS on Tuesday.
they should just leave and dont risk sickness upon everyone else its not like they can recover and win a stage its just not logical and ruin the chances lets say if Vuelta was a target for Bernal to ride around here sick for no purpose.

Now, sorry for running a bit off the course (or maybe not), but If you never ask, you never get an answer.

Does anyone here happen to know where I can find exact GPS/gpx data for the 1986 Carcasonne - Nîmes stage?

This was my very first live presence as a spectator (edit: at Le Tour, that is), and it turned out to be a completely memorable one of a kind at a spot you would otherwise see as a bit of a nothingburger. My old dad is counting his last days soon but has it on 8mm color silent film and pictures from his Voigtländer camera, of which there must be developed pictures (the roll is put in display windows).

The family at week stay at Le Grand Motte (the fly carpet was relatively new then) after a pleasant drive through France and my Dad had no issues coaxing me into a spontaneous trip north - on the contrary! So by far still my most memorable on location bike race spectator experiences through eras, GTs, local races and everything.

Now I'm looking with light and flashlight for the exact spot. There are several on earth.google.com that are almost similar, but not quite. It may be about 50k west of Nîmes, but can't tell. Quite silly since I was my dad's codriver that day.

It's something that has bothered me for over 30 years. And now to that extent I am reminded of it again by the mentioning of today's finish line town.

A humble thank you in advance

I have no idea what he's talking about...

Good morning, chaps!

Jasper Disaster has found his power and his confidence. It's hard to bet against him today.
Good morning, RC! Last time we get to see the sprinters do their thing if we're not counting the grand finale in Nice...

I think you're right about Philipsen, though I would prefer Cav, if he has any legs left after stage 15. (Us old people, it takes us a while to recover. Unlike those whippersnappers who recover in just a day.)

Cav was in agony getting over the mountains and making the time cut on Sunday. He wants one more chance. I hope he can be there at the end of the stage!

Edit: In an interview, Cav looks toward finishing the Tour, traveling to the US, and spending quality time at The Waffle House.

Disney World and the Waffle House, the fact he wants to take his kids to the Waffle House sounds actually kind of endearing.

Now is the moment for quickestep to use the echelons and their racing expertise to destroy that amateur team from the Emirates. Let's take back 4 minutes to Pogacar. Yves lampart and Gianni moscon, now is the moments to earn your contracts. You give everything for your leader remco today!

If Pogacar make the front echelon they could maybe get van welder to have one of his usual mishaps and block him?

You have to try things, this guy is a robot with 7watts per kilo for 1 hours, ruining cycling, but he is not invincible!
