Küng is a mean tease. I was almost getting excited for a stage where the sprinter teams actually have to work to bring back a big engine.

I take it as a protest. They cannot say anything, but they must be frustrated.

No break. Hopefully some echelon attempt somewhere in the stage. Or it will be a lot of fresh riders going even faster for the victory, more chance for crashes. Just another sprint stage I want everyone to stay safe.

At this point, I'm pretty sure that a big part of the reason why nobody wants to join the break is to force ASO into cutting down the number of purely flat stages next year. Because, let's be real, there has been almost nothing to work with for the non-climber attackers these past two years.

Could be, but historically, there were more or less always breakaways on flat stages.

Last year was quite fine, no?

Cuttin down these sprint stages would just make the Tour even harder, there's no way riders want that.

Thanks @Netserk - should've mentioned that's the best I could find too (now years ago).
I think it's now up to my memory to try and memorize the noted locations. On the day I remember heading for a roundabout - but since France was frontrunner in roundabouts by the time already and besides landscapes has changed landslide-wise since due to highways, new establisments and everything the picture gets messy and shady.
But thanks for reminding me the list of points. It's a bit of a pity I've lost my original local 1:25.000 Michelin card by then where I made a few sketches and notes as co-driver for my dad.

But thanks alot for the try!

Speaking of which, does anyone know when and where to by the official road book for the 2025 Tour after the route is announced later this year?
