I would not be walking across that Chatelet Bridge.

But would you drive a two tonne car over it?

Has Team Wout done anything to help Jonas in this whole Tour? Visma have given him a lot of help when he wanted stage wins, but he seems to give nothing back.

Next time Visma want to win a GT, they should leave Team Wout at home

Could be Jonas doesn't feel too well so they're going for the stage with Jorgensen instead.

Visma are continuing to push this break, which does not seem like the right move if they might be needed later for a prospective Vingegaard attack

I guess they are confident that Vinge can't distance Pog and probably Pog wants stage so they need to keep it close.

I am surprised how hard UAE are pacing Bonette. Isn't better that there is a bigger gap between Visma's satellit riders and the peleton if Jonas attacks.

they're continuing to slip time to the break and they haven't really gained that much time on the grupetto. i don't think they're pacing particularly hard

They want to win the stage - if the gap went 5+ mins that would be too big to pull back on final climb. Anything around 3 min mark then Pogi will be confident of closing

They have gained 30 seconds on the breakaway so far on the climb.

Edit: now that they've put Politt on the front they've stopped gaining time.

At least you can use the aerial lifts during the summer.
I suppose you could also use the surface lifts during the summer, you'd just have to run really fast!
DISCLAIMER: DO NOT ATTEMPT

Fun fact; I once fell on one of those "plate lifts" - you know, the one where you put a circular disc between your legs, and get dragged to the top - then I did the reasonable thing and just... held on onto the top!

I've also been whacked on my head with one of those T-lifts...
Now that surely sounds like live-art!

I think they know that Vingegaard isn't capable of dropping Pogacar and they are riding to win the stage and effectively wrap up the Tour today.

So the stage is set: Jorgenson and Kelderman in the breakaway! Vingo's attack is on the cards: it could be on Bonette or on Isola (depending where and if his attack succeeds they will help between climbs or on the last climb). Can't wait to the finale.
