Wout crashed early in the season and has not completely recovered. It happens.

His "power" does not seem impacted really either.

His sprinting is the same as ever (2nd tier sprinter who could be better if he had better positioning).

His level in terms of "hilly" terrain seems similar too based on those kind of stages.

But yeh, his climbing seems a lot worse. And his TT is not "bad" but not close to level we would expect.

Also, he did a lot of work yesterday on a stage that he tried to win.

I'm not sure about this move by Visma unless Vingegaard is feeling really, really good. Using three of your guys to go up the road kind of precludes any chance of them drilling it up Vars/Bonette.
It is the only day to win le Tour. But he has to attack strong at la Bonette, but hope he has a rider to make It more selective, becouse he out the 2 better ahead...and UAE is not going to put a good pace

Man visma are so stupid trying bait UAE into chasing the break thinking they care about a stage win and if Jonas doesnt attack on the bonnette its a waste of a stage for visma

if you want to attack this climb i think the ramps start at about 8k out

And by that time they will reach around 2.000 meter height - then they only have to climb to 2.800 meters.

Pogi looks good and will be hard to rock today, but now they go very high and that can affect in another way. The same goes for Vingegaard and Remco.

Peloton still too big and Politt is in front. Disappointing stage

Politt is a beast - what a climber.
