Jonas Vingegaard didn't have Kuss to help him, but at least he had Van Aert. Or ...? 😆
Still a better tactic than if they had just tried to make the race hard by riding on front of the peloton imo, however this turns out, at least they are making UAE do something at this point too. Missing a good Van Aert and Kuss though, definitelyVisma wants to isolate Pogi early but it’s gonna be the other way around I think.
I mean if they hold the break in sight and catch them early. And Pogi goes on the Bonette. Will be no one in front anymore.Temporarily. You're not completely isolated if you have guys ahead.
If you wanted UAE to pace, you could have done literally nothing, the race leaders would set pace on the climbs regardless of Jorgenson being in the break I think.Still a better tactic than if they had just tried to make the race hard by riding on front of the peloton imo, however this turns out, at least they are making UAE do something at this point too. Pretty active though. Just not on the stages where he's needed. Only riding for himself. Visma's double agenda.WvA really not a lot of help this Tour. Horrible form. Let's hope he get's better soon, it's sad to see him like this.
Is Pog gonna go on the Bonette? Cause he has like 3 guys left. Bit surprising they go this hard

Ofc, just a morning starter punishment ensuring an exhausting stage in the end.I find that Iseran doesn't link too well with other climbs..... ie there's about a 40-50km descent after it.
He reeled in Pogii am not going to discount Vingegaard finding form and doing some crazy attack to bridge to the break but we haven't seen him have that kind of form in the race yet
