Great win from Vauquelin, he is one of the best French riders nowadays and played it very well by following Oliveira's move.

Vingegaard doing surprisingly well given his crash, Pogačar's attack was really strong. Remco with a good defence by coming back in the end and Carapaz also really well, I will be curious to see if they still be the best of the rest of Tuesday.

Disappointing performance from Roglič on a climb where he already won four times and UAE team looking weaker than expected but I have a feeling they will improve in the mountains.
