What’s it about Vingo to ride with Pogi and not pushing the last km to gap everyone.

Love the grinta from Remco. Long time ago that I’ve yelled to someone in race. Love it.

He knows full well his only real competitor is Pogacar.

It doesn't matter if he takes 10 seconds on the rest today, because they will be 10 minutes behind in the final GC.

Everything is about not losing time to Pogacar, and any energy spent on anything else is wasted.

Think Pog is a bit shaken now. His attack was vicious but Vinge, who everyone thought was in god but maybe not supershape yet, was able to follow.

Never thougt Vinge would be this strong already. Damn!
Yeah he has to be a bit worried. Vinge has no where to go but up, while Pog has to maintain his form and hope that Giro in his legs doesn't catch up to him later in the race. This will be interesting to see how Pog deals with this. Nice to see Remco there, but sad for Rogla, I was hoping...

So what did we learn if anything
Pog not in Giro form
Vingo as good as usual
Remco better than expected , the 2 TT might very well end up giving him the win
Rog big questionmark, didnt see him at all up San Luca the first time and was very far back the second time, no comentator comented about it and no camera showed mechanical

Vingegaard looked surprisingly good, covering Pogacar’s attack with relative ease. He hardly broke sweat. I think he’s at last partly answered any questions we had over his condition. The question now is if he can build and get stronger as the race proceeds. If he can, and with the big mountain stages coming mostly in the final week, then that spells trouble for everyone else, including Pogacar. At last we seem to have a race.

So it will be Pog vs. Vinge again. Nice to see that Jonas is on the level so another Giro borefest (GC-wise overall racing was great at the Giro) probably won't happen. But we have to see what Stage 4 holds...it's another beast and there will be totally different conditions.

Remco will be a nice addition to the race. If stage 4 won't be all out attacks with the decent finish...maybe he could be even in yellow after the TT. Carapaz better the I thought.

Roglic doesn't seem to have it but in the end 20 seconds are not that much...could have been worse without domestiques and Ineos also having all there guys in the group. No match for Pogi or Vinge but maybe he can get better in the race and fight for the podium.

Pog is in Giro form, but it's Jonas.
