Merijn Zeeman (DS at Visma) to HLN: "Pogacar is the best, bravo to him. We are among the lucky ones who were able to take a step, because otherwise he doesn't leave much for others. It's his choice, of course. But I don't know if that contributes to its popularity."

This guy is just the definition of a douche. God I dislike this clown, what a loser honestly. A sore loser!

100% agree and couldnt agree more that guy is the biggest joke. Been so tough and smug all season even start of the Tour and once he gets a smackdown so hard everyime and clearly Pogacar is the best uphill by far weve ever seen he turn into a cry baby like no other like you cant switch up like that..

What a horrible thing for Merijn Zeeman to say. Sour grapes. I feel for Jonas to be associated with such people.
He forgot Visma winning 6 stages, yellow and green in 2022 apparantly. He also forgot they won 3 GTs in 2023 and finished 1-2-3 in the Vuelta. Madiot saying this stuff is one thing, this dude is another

Laughable. Straight up laughable!

You can't deny Zeeman's reaction is the very definition of a sore loser. It's only in defeat you really learn if people have class or not. Vingegaard does. Zeeman clearly doesn't.
Anyway, he's off running a football club next year so we won't be bothered by him anymore.

He stopped short of calling him a mutant or winking/nodding about being otherworldly. Of course that could turn scrutiny onto his program, too. He'll use die hard Visma fans to do that dirty work.

Can we get back to sports, where the protagonists don't cry, if they don't miss a penalty shot or just barely make the time cut ? Probably not, as it doesn't sell as well.

Remember when Jomas didn't help Pogi
I guess if he did Pogacar might gift him today. What comes around goes around that people complain about not gifting it to Vingegaard based on sympati that he got manhandled entire tour by a superior rider is not the way.

If he earned it in Pogacar eyes by participating himself earlier when he wanted it too òn gravel stage then fair game, this now is sour grapes just in pure taste when they wouldnt lift a finger with him on gravel stage 2v1 even. And now he should gift them beacuse of what reason?

I think he was crying not because of making a timecut, but because this was the last stage (apart from tomorrows ITT) at TDF in his career.
