“To win the Tour de France you need to have a budget of 50 million euro to 60 million euro,” Cofidis boss Cedric Vasseur told Velo. “If you want to have a chance to sign those riders like Pogačar and Vingegaard, and to have the domestiques and staff around to make that happen, anything under 50 million, there is no chance.”

I wonder how Pog would have got on, riding on team Cofidis this Tour. I reckon he still would have won the thing.
Maybe. But a lot of that 50 million is preparation, training, and support, not just paying to have excellent domestiques, who are essential. Altitude training is not cheap, for example.

Mikel Landa Meana will blow then out of the water today

The Tour begins today
It would be great, but if Remco put half a minute to Vibgegaard he has real options to be second, and if he trt something, it is easy Landa play a role and have to forgt his ambitions. But of course there are some ways bith of then can vebefit, and as well the way to make quite separate his own war.
almedia is stonger than ever and he now is free to job, so it will be difficult.

Going to be tough to take for myself and several here when VDP turns up in a couple of weeks with about 40 more watts than he currently has, after sh*tting the bed the entire tour.

Jens Voigt has come up with a genius solution to the boring sprint stages: Make races shorter and easier so people are actually able to attack. Because, as you can see at the moment, everybody is completely cooked

Snooker lost it's lustre when it, like cycling became too optimised. We've got kids doing marathons and watching what they eat nowadays, it was better when they used to down pints and smoke at the table, give me big Bill Werbeniuk any day of the week, peak physical prowess;

Remarkable statistic: seven places in the top 9 are occupied by the three strongest teams. There's not much left for the others.
And that's with Bora's main guys either crazy out of form (Hindley) or crashing. Cycling is becoming extremely top heavy – UAE, Bora, Visma, Soudal-Quickstep, Ineos, Alpecin, Lidl-Trek between them dominate almost every part of every race.
