Armstrong, Roadman podcast and others saying he was slightly disrespectful, I couldn't disagree more.. No gifts, he gave multiple days w minutes up the road and when he shifted into turbo he just couldn't be stopped. He was ( is) fantastic all around!!
The biggest fraud in the history of the sport who famously chased down a rider who complained about the state of the sport has thoughts about "disrespect". Cannot possibly extend a bigger middle finger to Armstrong and his entire legacy. A complete tool.

I wonder what qualifications the official interviewer of the Tour is supposed to have. He uses those Southern European "questions" where he just says something about how great it was, and then lets the rider "answer".

his qualification, other than being multilingual, is to ask soft ball questions of someone full of emotion, adrenaline and a bit knackered...normally.

tbh just getting coherent sentences out of riders at this stage is a skill in itself.

he usually asks stuff that sum up the moment, its never going to anything but superficial
