Armstrong, Roadman podcast and others saying he was slightly disrespectful, I couldn't disagree more.. No gifts, he gave multiple days w minutes up the road and when he shifted into turbo he just couldn't be stopped. He was ( is) fantastic all around!!German media talking about giftig stages ....
Ridiculous
Given the circumstances Vingegaard had, I think he would have no reason for that. Not sure I'd agree with this; they both did great performances and got CRUSHED. Of course they can both be very proud of their races but perhaps the realization of just how massive their beating was might be just a little too much to take emotionally at the moment.
The biggest fraud in the history of the sport who famously chased down a rider who complained about the state of the sport has thoughts about "disrespect". Cannot possibly extend a bigger middle finger to Armstrong and his entire legacy. A complete tool.Armstrong, Roadman podcast and others saying he was slightly disrespectful, I couldn't disagree more.. He’s got beat worse by Jonas last year. Don’t forget that.I think you can say arrogant perhaps, but I don't know where you get overconfident. I'd say beating Jonas by 6:17, Remco by 9:18, with Almeida in 4th 19:03 (!?!?!) back leaves him plenty of room for confidence. This was totally ridiculous.
Remco, 'Jonas, what's the secret with your big balls?'I don’t think we’ll hear any more comments about Jonas’s anatomy from Remco from now on.
Yeah, they are huge but almost the same as last year with a smaller gap to 2ndAbsolutely. Vingegaard will be happy too with his performances after his crash, just gonna need some time after the tour
These time margins in GC are mad.
He’s got beat worse by Jonas last year. Don’t forget that.
I wonder what qualifications the official interviewer of the Tour is supposed to have. He uses those Southern European "questions" where he just says something about how great it was, and then lets the rider "answer".
Yeah, they are huge but almost the same as last year with a smaller gap to 2nd
Actually quite a good TT from Remco; I think this one really suited Jonas a lot more. But to your point, yes, Remco may choose a little more discretion in his quotes in the future lest they come back to bite him in the, well, you know...I don’t think we’ll hear any more comments about Jonas’s anatomy from Remco from now on.
As so often...:So, when was the last time a GC rider won 3 consecutive Tour stages?
