Given the racing was pretty meh, these first three stage winners are as good as it gets. Not only in terms of likeable riders but also a welcoming change with smaller teams winning stuff.
EF getting the yellow jersey like that is kinda hilarious and I'm really looking forward how this gets covered in the Netflix series next year. I need extensive slow motion of Carapaz sprinting backwards in between a bunch of 1,90m giants while Vaughters jumps up and down his chair giving us great metaphorical quotes what this means for the team.
Jokes aside, cool to see Carapaz adding a yellow jersey to his collection, has to be one of the very few people to have a leaders jersey from every GT as well as an Olympic gold medal, no?

Side note: Pedersen being quite a bit up on Jakobsen in the Green jersey competitions is a very good development for this Tour given how many otherwise boring sprint stages there are this year. Might be at least some battle to look forward after a few years where the competition was decided super early.

What was Remco complaining about when he crossed the line?

He's always complaining. Maybe someone smiled at him at the wrong time.
Healy, for no reason, wants to wiggle in between Evenepoel and Pogacar to cross over in front of Evenepoel to the other side of the road, to "sprint" ahead of their bunch while they were freewheeling towards the finish. Evenepoel simply thinking WTF is this guy doing.
