Another brisk descent - would like to sit there and just listen to the sound of fast wheels going by. (Would probably be a little frightening also.)

When I wrote that they were only 2/3 up on Sestriere until where they definitely had headwind. Only from Fraisse until the top they didn't have it anymore because they had turned south.
I did not see flags in the broadcast to judge it directly, but the forecast had a tailwind.

Oh I am so disappointed. Voigt learned to say Carapaz instead of Karapatsch. I was already looking forward to this as it reminds me of Pittiplatsch (part of a part of a German Kids TV show: Das Sandmännchen)
Omg, I think I may have watched Sandmännchen when I lived in Germany ages ago! I'll have to find the show on youtube now to refresh my memory...

I'd love to live in a place where 25km/h is considered a "strong wind".

I'd also love to live somewhere with hills larger than a highway overpass.

Interesting, all the places I had checked beforehand had NW wind. I went a bit back in the broadcast and flags were all over the place but did indeed look more like sidewind/tailwind. I stand corrected.

Jorgenson crashed? Was in a work meeting and couldn't watch and just tuned in now to see him chase and with a tape on his elbow.
