It would suck if the headwind neutralizes GC battle too. We’ll have to wait many stages to see battles play out
Yep, for a climbing stage we will have to wait till stage 11.
When i hear the name Briancon, i am always reminded of the 2000 TDF stage 14 and 15. Stage 14th where Armstrong played with Pantani and the rest of the field on the Col d'Izoard .......the 15th stage from Briancon to Courcheval where Pantani attacked Armstrong and then abondoned on stage 17th after attacking from a long way ala Chiappucci on stage 16th

Gradient is so shallow such that they have to set this absurd pace to do any damage, even though it's really long, proper Rohan Dennis/Ganna big ring climb.

Will Richie be able to keep yellow on Galibier?

To my great dismay, I've discovered that Danish Eurosport don't seem to have the rights to the Tour, so my switch-to-Danish-when-Kirby trick doesn't work. :(

How long it takes Gaudu will explode?
Expect not a lot of things today, stage not hard enough, still a big group.
