According to some comments on Velowire, almost all of the hotels are booked in Courchevel come the last week of the Tour 2025.

Probably it means, Col de la loze again, but if they think in la tougnète, it would be great.

In terms of credible rumours it's something like this.....superbagneres, peyragudes, mont ventoux, la plagne, la loze until now.

I've believed that the ASO are planning to do Tougnete + Loze when the first is paved on both sides of the pass. The question is where they will finish, at the top of Loze or continue down to Courchevel?

Top of Loze or landing strip doesn't make that much of a difference. Though probably top of Loze is slightly better. Give it 0 chance they're going all the way down.

Landing strip is way better, at least they have to do a few more kilometers by themselves

There's also a cycle path between Menuires and Val Thorens, and there's a bridge for skiing in Menuires, for the route to cross over itself, so with the planned connection between Tougnetes and Meribel that gives us: (New) Val Thorens, Tougnetes, Col de la Loze, Col de la Platta!!!

It's quite annoying, as some parts of it needs to be mapped on Google to match perfectly with the satellite images of the road.

La Plagne and Courchel is not far apart. Does that mean they are just descending to the valley (or start from the valley) and do only Tougnete and Loze which would mean a very short stage.

I gave an example of how to use the valleys for early climbs. You can add 10-15 km if you start in Aime (and more if you use climbs in that valley not used in the previous stage).

It's amazing how all these new monster climbs are popping up in that area. I did a quick Google search for Col de la Platta, and there were pics of the road, it looked freshly paved..

I didn't know about that bridge. The fact that I thought it impossible to connect the new bike path to Val Thorens to Tougnete and Loze has been of great annoyence to me. This is making my mouth watering.

Is there any information about when they are planning to pave the Meribel side of Tougnete?
