Calm down there, SatanWould love a Super Planche des Belles Filles next year.
This route will make people miss la planche des belles filles, in the first week.Would love a Super Planche des Belles Filles next year.
Would love a Super Planche des Belles Filles next year.
I also want a few unipuerto MTF stages.Tell me that's sarcasm please?
LPDF is okay but why do wen need "super"?
Red Rick is going to build a Pogacar tempel before we get a 100+ km ITT on a Sunday.
As long as they put 2-3 mountain stages designed for long range attacks, I'm fine with unipuerto stages.I also want a few unipuerto MTF stages.
Also wasn't Govenou talking how they were gonna do fewer flat stages?
I am already ready for "Jeez Red Rick why are you so negative about this route you're always negative"
Also, 2012 had more than a few punchy stages at the beginning, the main problem was that the main mountain stages were just god tier awful.
The route will be trash again.Okay guys, we all have to be very strong. The newest update in the almighty velowire article suggests, that Carcassonne we be the finish of stage 14. This would mean that the Pyrenees would see two stages.
If one of those Pyrenees stages ends up to be the mentioned MTT, that would be horrible for racing and Ciclismo. We just could hope that the special thing about stage 13 is that it would be a sub 100 km stage. Options would be:
Bagners de Luchon - Port de Bales - Peyresourde - Peyragudes
Or
Bagners de Luchon - Portillon - Peyresourde - Peyragudes
Depends on what they plan to use/not use the day before.
Just dropping a nuke in the forum lol.Would love a Super Planche des Belles Filles next year.
yes, as above in the schedule. It will be the stage in the Dore.As the 14th of July in 2025 is a Monday, there was talk of the first rest day being on the 15th instead (Tuesday).
2002/2004 level dreck of a first half (stage 11 will be flat too). The first week seems to be more clear now:
From grupetto and velowire:
"https://www.ouest-france.fr/tour-de-fra ... 3a2eb2c9d7
So the first 10 days till the restday are almost complete:
1/ Lille - Lille (sprint)
2/ Lauwin Planque - Boulogne/Mer (puncheurs)
3/ Valenciennes - Dunkerque (sprint)
4/ Amiens - Rouen (sprint or puncheur (there are a lot of hills around Rouen))
5/ CLM Caen - Caen (TT specialst)
6/ Bayeux - Vire (most likely sprint or baroudeurs or puncheurs (the distance between both city is not that big, so if ASO want they can spice the middle part of the stage with AGR kind of hills))
7/ St-Malo - Mûr-de-Bretagne (puncheur)
8/ St-Méen-le-Grand - Laval (sprint)
9/ Chinon - Châteauroux (sprint)
10/ Ennezat- Le Mont-Dore/Massif du Sancy (medium mountain stage (puncheur/baroudeurs/GC maybe))
Restday/ Toulouse
2002/2004 level dreck of a first half (stage 11 will be flat too).
Please, can some high end company just offer Thierry Gouvenou some once in a life time, one you can't refuse kind of deal? This man is insane, a cycling terrorist. Let him stand before the ICJ and they would deem him guilty of war crimes. Lock him up.
Guillén is the antidote to the long range attacks that are boring all of us to death. His time has come.or why doesn't Prudhomme fire him (and fire Guillen as well as he guillotined the Vuelta)
Got you brotherGuillén is the antidote to the long range attacks that are boring all of us to death. His time has come.
Peyragudes is a stupid idea whether it’s a TT or not.TTT is probably the most stupid and wasted stage.
If they want to do time trials, how about doing decent time trials, instead of doing waisting stages by doing individual time trials of 20 km or TTT of 20/25 km?
If they want to do proper time trials, they should do a proper ITT of 50/60 km where the differences can be high, and benefit the specialists riders on that area.
If they want to do a MTT, peyragudes is a really stupid idea, because is a short climb of 20 minutes.
They should do a MTT of 40 min effort like Alpe d'huez in 2004.
It would be better doing a MTT to superbagneres.
He was way ahead of his time.Guillén is the antidote to the long range attacks that are boring all of us to death. His time has come.
