That would be strange. Would that be on the La Plagne stage? It's the other side of Loze they seems to do, the "easier" side from Courchevel.

So he was pretty close to Pog in level. Also, it's not 10 watts, but 10 watts on average for the duration.
By Chronowatts.
Vingegaard was 10 Watts slower than Pogacar on Plateau de beille.
Pogacar 473 Watts
Vingegaard 463 Watts.
Standard powers (70 kg).
Yes, that's what i was trying to say.So he was pretty close to Pog in level. Also, it's not 10 watts, but 10 watts on average for the duration.
No LFR is saying that based on the fact that the roumor says the stage will finish on Col de la Loze (Courchevel). In 2020 it was Col de la Loze (Meribel). But tough side of Loze before a finish on La Plagne would be better than most TdF mountain stages, so let's hope they do both. Then the previous climbs could end up mattering on the Loze MTFas well. So two possibly great stages rather than zero..!That would be strange. Would that be on the La Plagne stage?
I'm too stupid for that stuff to make sense to me yet...It's also normalized for a 70k rider.
Yeah, still too stupid... I guess I'm still influenced by thinking about the power to weight ratio regarding the individual riders, rather than it just obviously being the metric to measure climbing performances by.They normalize watts to a fixed weight to get a standardized value.
Yes, i also said that, but it is for the two riders, to have a fair comparation. Standard weight. It's also normalized for a 70k rider.
Only if we ignore this year, last year, 2019, 2016, 2015, 2013, and 2009.A stage 20 mountain or hill stage is very rare in general at the tour.
"Hill" stages sure but not so a proper MTT. When was the MTT in 2019? The Val Thoren's stage wasn't a MTT. And was Combloux last year a proper MTT? I think the last true MTT in the Tour was 2004 to AdH?Only if we ignore this year, last year, 2019, 2016, 2015, 2013, and 2009.
A true MTT since 2004 but we had the infamous 2020 LPDBF MTT.Ventoux, a MTT and Loze (Pog's krptonite) - looks appetizing. When we the last time the Tour had a Mountain Time Trial ?
After what we have seen this season I am almost relieved they haven't put AdH on he menu. I fear what Pogacar might do to Marco's record.
I would say that the perfect MTT would be something like this:"Hill" stages sure but not so a proper MTT. When was the MTT in 2019? The Val Thoren's stage wasn't a MTT. And was Combloux last year a proper MTT? I think the last true MTT in the Tour was 2004 to AdH?
This is an example of what I consider to be a proper MTT. I hope the Tour organizers can include something similar in 2025:
Oops, yes how could I forget!A true MTT since 2004 but we had the infamous 2020 LPDBF MTT.
They should do that as just a road stage.I would say that the perfect MTT would be something like this:
Mountain road race stage, not TT was what I thought was meant."Hill" stages sure but not so a proper MTT. When was the MTT in 2019? The Val Thoren's stage wasn't a MTT. And was Combloux last year a proper MTT? I think the last true MTT in the Tour was 2004 to AdH?

Stage profile, mountains profiles, final five kilometre profile, race map, steepness percentage profiles for Giro d'Italia 2010.www.procyclingstats.com
I mean they basically did in 1996.They should do that as just a road stage.

It's good. It will probably be better than the usual Super Besse finish. What do we think about the Bastille Day stage?
I think Croix Saint-Robert is perhaps the best bet for the penultimate climb:So as an example of what that could plausibly look like:
Montluçon > Mont-Dore
190.0 km, +4572 m. Bike ride in Montluçon, Auvergne-Rhône-Alpesridewithgps.com
Nothing brutal and no steep climbs like stage 11 this year, but still very good for a July 14 stage and it gives room for wild GC moves too.
