Yup, you'd expect to see a group 2 like this in a cobbled classic

This feels like a junior race, Remco just loving this. And if he could bridge without Pogi he could have a free ride in that group. When you’re at the front, better to go than to wait again and miss the split.

I was thinking juniors or US cat5 in rural West Virginia with race radio being hijacked by feckless fool Johnny Rotten Vaughters giving multiple teams bad advice!! Poor, poor Healy deserves better than this..

The race was all over the place and like you said, it had been five minutes. Have to take chances where you find them, I'd have expected the same from Pogacar in 2023.

Not sure what exactly happened. Did they attack when Le Patron was peeing? Or was he just towards the back of the peleton?

The first attacks came while he was ppeing and continued as he was returning to the peloton. That's why he was dropped; he was making up positions after peeing.
