What a statement by Pogacar. The gap to Vingo is ridiculous. I think the Dane was riding too fast initially and cracked a bit in the second half of the climb. Lipowitz really strong, just like at the Dauphine. He was closing the gap to Vingo. He's BORA leader now, Rogla much further behind (over 4'). Remco lost a lot but it wasn't bad considering what happened on Soulor. He distanced Rogla at the end.

Hautacam time by Pogacar is around 35'20'' if I measured well. Riis legendary record is still there (by around 35-40''). Pog was pacing alone almost the whole climb, with very strong doms work in the first 5 km he may have been closer though.

They don't necessarily say exactly the opposite of what they intend, are many are not native English speakers.

But never mind, lighten up.
No need to correct people for grammar mistakes. We all make them. I expect we have a lot of polyglots on this board, and the English is quite impressive from non-native speakers. Wanna see poor English? Come to the US.

Cristian Rodriguez in 10th at 7 minutes proves the strength in depth is comical right now.
Combined with most of the best riders being collected in just a few teams. Almeida, Ayuso and Del Toro on different teams would have been nice to see. But yeah, hasn't been much of a refill from behind to replace the declining guys like Roglic, Carapaz, Landa, even Thomas until recently. As seen by an underwhelming Simon Yates winning the Giro.
