I just said today was a mental crack. You are misjudging what I said.
While I respect your right to your opinion we disagree 100%; in my reading of your posts there seems a very clear insinuation of mental weakness imho. While I don't want to have an argument with you as you're a good poster in general it seems like it would be clear to an impartial observer that based on the last couple days he is 100% cooked. Clearly he's a guy who rides with a lot of emotion and of course he has taken a huge mental and spiritual blow, but I would reject out of hand that he dropped immediately due to a mental crack. He obviously woke up with zero gas in the tank; based on his past history of bouncing back after bad days I don't think it's a stretch to say if he had the legs today he'd be there. Anyway, he's gone. Onward.

Gloomy weather near Tourmalet, 2000+ meters of elevation. Dry on one side and wet on the other. I just recalled hundreds of mountain hikes I did.
