It's not the strade bianche, the white roads are because they spray water with chalk powder. It reflects the sunshine and helps prevent the tar from melting in the heat

Guy has been burying himself day after day, real worker, surprised he has energy for this effort. He has rode an impressive TDF so far..
Bonus, for some reason he likes the solid smooth helmet, no matter how hot outside.. Easy to pick out in the crowd!!
